Memories of Adventures in Barbados.

Not often does one run into authentic adventurers who have a fearless spirit of adventure and a charming sense of fun. This was Rex Wotton, a sailor, climber, scuba diver, and a great sport.  Rex Wotton ran the West Coast Watersports center at Coral Reef hotel. It was just a short walk from Settlers Beach. They took hotel guest diving and on sailing trips around the coast. He was a master seaman trained by the Royal Merchant Navy in navigation, and marine work. Rex Wotton was one of the most loveable Rogues in Paradise. He had a woderful sense of fun and used it to win over every situation.

Sailing to St. Vincent with a friend at age 11 attests to his sense of adventure. He urged many other to join him in pranks and outrageous activities, making it all look safe, effortless, and a joy. Often daring, he took extreme but considered risks.
